A brief video about kind free speech and why it's important to model it for our kids. We can speak our truth in a kind way. Anything that is a core truth of ours can be freely expressed in a way that is also kind and empathetic. It takes more work and it's what we need to do if we want to help create a kind, free world. It's also incredibly important that we model this integrity for our kids and that we are kind and humble when we make mistakes. This is also a form of truthfulness. We can honestly admit, "Hey that wasn't my brightest moment as a parent; sorry about that. I was hard on you. I reacted before I got the full picture." We can forgive ourselves and do better next time.
