The elusive, incredibly rare port of Chrono Trigger to the Sega Genesis!
Well, no. This was a request by Amber Turd (@liberal_refugee) on Minds, who was curious how this song might of sounded like as a Sega Genesis/Mega Drive port. I can't say this is exactly how it would sound, because I arranged this using a Mega Drive soundfont, and didn't really look into the specs of how many channels of music the Genesis allowed. Plus, if they had ported Chrono Trigger to Sega CD, they could have used .wav files and had music comparable to the SNES' MIDI capabilities, or full on real instruments and orchestration. It would have been 16-bit audio quality at best back then, but it would have been CD quality music for its time.
