The Honey Badger Brigade's founders came together over the need for a particular point to be made to women, by women: Men's human rights issues aren't subject to female approval. As long as there are women who do not understand that trying to involve themselves in the movement, there will be a need for women who do. This is necessary to prevent men's rights activism from becoming another arm of feminism and ultimately another control placed on men, rather than a remedy for the discrimination they face under today's law and policy.
