In psychology, the Stroop effect (published by John Ridley Stroop in 1935) is an interesting finding that demonstrates a person's sudden delayed reaction time and higher chance of error when told to name the color of a word that is not the color itself.
For example, the words "red", "blue" and "green" printed in blue, green, red respectively would be harder to name the colors as compared to the same words printed in matching colors (red blue green) or any non-color related words (such as monkey, goat, mouse).
Try it for yourself!
You have 30 seconds to say the color of each word out loud.
Time's up!
Leave a comment below if you got through all of them without any mistakes!
Thanks for watching!
