San Elijo State Beach is near Oceanside CA, next to the Cardiff State Beach.
The Kraken is at and very biker friendly.
Surfing, boogie-boarding, skim-boarding, snorkeling, picnics, camping and jellyfish, so watch yourself. Campsite reservations are made through Reserve America, and sites book up to 6 months in advance. The campsite is great but got to plan ahead.
At low tide, there is a tide pool that many you can walk to. It is located on a bluff right above the beach. Perfect for photographers with great sunsets.
