The term “EDC” stands for “Everyday Carry”. It is a common phrase used by Prepper’s and Gear Junkies for indicating all of the gear/supplies they carry on their person on a daily basis. In my opinion, everyone has an EDC, whether they call it that or not. Basically everybody carries a wallet, phone, watch, and keys. I like to call these “Core EDC” items. Prepper’s usually carry additional items beyond this core set of items, mostly related to tools like a knife, flashlight, fire starter, etc. I consider “EDC Tools” to be the second tier on one’s Everyday Carry system. Most people carry all of these items individually in various pockets. Over the past year, I have tried to leverage miniature modules for organizing my EDC into various categories.
