Jim Wilhelmsen's UFO Museum and Ministry - Q & A

My old friend Gordy Tong from the Vancouver UFO Meetup introduced me to Jim Wilhelmsen, currently in the Detroit metro area, who is the curator of a museum based on his lifetime study and research on the topic of UFOs and Aliens. The museum reflects a colorful past with much intensive study, research, and personal investigation spanning four decades. Jim was a 10-year member of MUFON as a researcher and investigator, a 4 year resident and owner of a bookstore/museum in the downtown city of Roswell New Mexico across the street from the International UFO Museum.

Jim is also an ordained Christian minister as an alumnus of Central Bible College Assemblies of God and ordained into Christian ministry since 1976. He was also a Vietnam era veteran serving in the US Army special forces rapid deployment Hawk missile unit part of the NORAD defense system.

Christian ministry has always been an outside of the box adventure. His first congregation was former members of Detroit area "outlaw" type bikers who found a new life in Jesus. Counseling cross addictions and a lifestyle heavily influenced by demonic powers, deliverance and spiritual warfare developed as his everyday normal routine. This same process developed into a spiritual way of terminating the phenomena of "Alien Abduction" using the same methods of inner healing and deliverance. This became an important part of recent ministry for dealing with "aliens" and any and all unwanted paranormal intrusions. His book written 25 years ago predicted many of the events that are now front-page news and hot topics of Sci-fi and documentaries. The museum reflects all of this and the hope and promises from a God who is in complete control and promises to provide and protect us. This positive hope is the final touch to the theme of the museum mixing many elements and visual models to make the complicated easy for anyone to understand.
