What's up with the burden of proof? Do atheists ever bear the burden of proof? Do theists always bear it? Just what is the burden of proof, exactly? Can you prove a negative claim? What about a universal negative claim?

Note; Welcome to season 3 of Clean Cut, where we'll be studying the various arguments for atheism, and testing to see whether any are strong enough to challenge the proofs for the existence of God. I've picked the strongest arguments I could find on behalf of atheism, and will be studying them until around episode 36. Some arguments, regrettably, weren't strong enough to make the list, but I'll address some of those when the season is finished.

I hope you'll enjoy this brief series on the best efforts of atheism in the modern world. If you're new to the series, I hope you'll check out the previous epiodes, as they contain a lot of deductions, which I'll be building on.
