In this video we'll cover some basic details with common additives in cold process soap making for beginners.
1. Adding clay - and comparing it to the texture of your base soap as well as how clay can affect the same mica colorants.
2. Health warnings about dried aloe powder. Yes, be careful!
3. A demonstration on titanium dioxide. 1st I'll add the titanium dioxide the right way, and then I'll show you what happens if you just throw too much of the powder in and what the finished result looks like. It's only a cosmetic difference, but here you'll get to see what that looks like.
