Dr J also shared evidence-based results that probiotic administration improved the clinical symptoms, histological alterations, and mucus production. Although, some results suggest that caution should be taken when administering these agents in the relapse stages of IBD. Also, it appears to be potentially well-tolerated, effective, and safe in patients with IBD and other gut issues.
