Blessed are the Persecuted....
Can Christians be popular? The teachings of Jesus and persecution are closely linked. Yet, it is rarely seen in western countries where religious faith is widely linked with popularity. Christian persecution can take many forms. In Matthew 5:11-12, Jesus says the world will speak all manner of evil against his followers. He says, “Blessed are those who are slandered for my name's sake, for so they persecuted the prophets before you".
Reference to the beatitudes in this video, gives comfort to true followers of Jesus when they are rejected for Christ, in particular when people spread lies about us. If we stay faithful to Jesus' message, the world will hate us, but better that than to become popular false prophets, and then ultimately be rejected by Jesus.

What is "A Voice in the Desert"?
A Voice in the Desert is anonymous. Its purpose is to point people to the message, rather than the messenger. Most modern day prophets promote themselves more than the teachings of Jesus and the true message of Revelation. A Voice in the Desert challenges that error and more. Some of the things you hear on this channel may be difficult to understand, and may offend you. The goal, however, is to sweep away dogmas and traditions to reveal what Jesus actually taught.
