In this video we travel south to the state of Oaxaca without any plans what so ever only to encounter an unexpected surprise.

One of the most beautiful, delicious, and culturally rich cities in Mexico is located inland in the state of Oaxaca.

After spending 3 amazing days exploring Puebla we began our journey south-west to the city and state of Oaxaca. This region and the city in particular feature colourful building, scenic rooftop bars, colonial churches artesanal crafts and a rich local culture. Oaxaca is also one of the gastronomic centers of Mexico and capital of mezcal; one of the world's most complex and misunderstood distillates.

Oaxaca provides a marrying of food, culture, and diverse landscape and indigenous history that is unique to this region in Mexico. After a 5 hour bus ride we now arrive to what became one of our favourite destinations in Mexico, the state of Oaxaca.
