Protest against the Global Compact on Migration in Brussels at the European Commission building

Sotiri Dimpinoudis, a journalist in Belgium of Greek heritage recorded footage of a protest outside the European Commission building against the UN's Global Compact On Safe, Regular and Orderly migration.

He tweeted that he could see protesters smashing every window of the EC building that they could. In some of the footage, you could see a tear-Gas cloud surrounding the building to push back the protesters.

Police arrived in large vehicles to drive out the protesters and succeeded in cornering them on both sides. Several members of the police were injured and they said they made 32 arrests.
