Okanagan's church arsons: First Nations, locals & Father Obi speak their minds

DREA HUMPHREY: "Church fires have devasted communities throughout Canada over the past week. They have also divided Canadians at a time when social division is already at an all-time high. The timing couldn’t be more suspicious. It was just weeks after the first reports came out that unmarked graves of children were discovered at Kamloops Residential School in B.C.
We’ve been keeping a close eye on these stories, and we were about to bring you our report — until more churches went up in flames! In this report, I will take you to two churches that recently burned down on National Indigenous Peoples Day in B.C.’s southern interior. We followed the facts to understand why this was happening and who is behind it.
But we didn’t just talk about it, we went to the ground to meet with people there and spend time inside their communities. We wanted to ask, what did those churches mean to them? We also wanted to find out how seriously the RCMP were investigating the fires and if any of our so-called political “leaders” cared. Our public officials stood by as churches closed and pastor after pastor was frog-marched to jail for standing defiantly against government overreach. Will politicians muster the same response to the attacks on Christian houses of worship?"
