On the morning of Friday 16th September 2016, I went down to the beach beside Levengrove Park as part of the Marine Conservation Society's Great British Beach Clean 2016 for a clean up of a small section of the beach, particularly focusing on glass (which makes up for the overall majority of litter found on the beach). I acknowledge that the camera doesn't quite pick up all of the glass I remove from the sands, even though it does show the largest parts of glass I pick up (which can injure any animal or child that comes into contact with the glass. That sadly included my own dog Molly who fortunately did make a good quick recovery and is still her hyper happy-go-lucky self). This problem, although I still saw dog walkers wondering around on the beach, often puts people off from walking their dogs on the beach itself which is why I specifically focused on exposing the problem full on, as you will in the quick lookover shots of the bucket at the end of the video.
The glass often seems to frequently wash up onto the beach as there had been the possibility of people smashing glass and bottles at either the beach I attended itself or at other parts further up the River Clyde (judging by the fact that the majority of the glass I picked up looked a bit eroded or covered in thick sand suggested that this problem has been going on for many years).
Sometimes the occasional drunk wasp did annoy me to the point where I had to carefully drop the bucket and do a runner but they were not any harm at all.
Do enjoy this video and I hope by seeing this that you will take action to clear up your own beach.
Thank you.

P.S. Apologies for the quality of the video. It was not originally like this but I might try to fix it in the future.
