It is a widely known symbol of Freemasonry. Both the square and compasses are architect's tools and are used in Masonic ritual as emblems to teach symbolic lessons. It is a form of witchcraft. Witchcraft is rebellion against God as He is the ONLY One who can perform miracles.

All supernatural power comes from either God or Satan. God gives power to those who believe in Jesus Christ.
To approach God, salvation through a personal relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ is the cost of entry.
It is the opposite with Satan, whose nature is deception. Satan gives power to those who believe a lie. Believing the lie is the cost of entry to access Satan's power and Eternity in Hell is the outcome.
Witchcraft bolsters up the lie with: mystery, pseudo-science, ancient knowledge, new knowledge, etc.... The more absurd the lie, the better.
The only Truth is found in the King James Bible. Filter everything you read, listen to, see, etc through The Word of God.
