Dusk Diver 2 - Playthrough Part 3

Yumo reunited with Bahet, who has lost his friend, who was mysteriously teleported in Youshanding. Bahet joins the party and he has some gimmick about making combos, which I didn't quite get, but his special moves have good range and used as assists for Yumo are a good defensive maneuver. In general I stick to Yumo and level her up the most using the others as back up. The way I see it, there's little point in switching between characters as it rarely extends combos, so having a main one makes sense and given that Yumo must be in the party concentrating on her is reasonable. I miss the old battle system, where you could chain assists to juggle your enemies and make huge combos. In any case Bette's mysterious master informs the gang that they can reach Youshanding to search for Bahet's friend via the metro. Once there the party met a boy, who was attacked by a mysterious warrior lady. After a brief boss fight both she and the boy disappeared. I also found out that completing side quests earns you skills. Honestly those are the best part of the game between visiting restaurants and building up the relationships with different characters. They are often quite funny too.
