Lenten Mission on Practicing for Heaven, Part 5: Heaven's Answer to Iconoclasm

At the Annunciation the angel said to Our Lady, “Do not be afraid, Mary,for you have found favor with God.” We have found favor with God in and through Our Lady. He has come to us and revealed Himself to us through her.... and He did it again to clarify matters in the Heavenly Icon found on the Tilma. We are indeed the apple of His eye. Let’s heed the message of this private revelation in the Tilma and let it help us to live the Gospel more and more in these difficult times. Let’s use the Sacraments, Sacramentals and icons, be deeply and piously devoted to Jesus living in Mary, adhere to the authority and authoritative teachings of the Popes and the Magisterium of the Church, pray to the angels, dress modestly and be unconditionally pro-life. These will keep us focused on the lamp shining in the dark… and obedient to the faith. The enlightenment driven iconoclasm is coming to an end… it is already in its death throes and it will get rough before its over. Seek refuge in devotion to Our Lady for this is her task… to conquer this “enlightenment.” Let us, then, in practicing for heaven always be children of Blessed Mary!
