Yes: The Buggles Side of Yes (Compilation Album)

Pop group "The Buggles" and the Prog-heavy "Yes" may have been one of the most unexpected pairings in music history, but the Yes album "Drama" proved that anything was possible! After the departure of Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman, Yes needed both a keyboardist and a new lead singer. In stepped Geoffrey Downes (keyboard) and Trevor Horn (vocals) of "Video Killed the Radio Star" fame to propel Yes into the 1980's. The pairing bore fruit beyond the "Drama" album as Downes and Howe would team up to form the supergroup "Asia," while Horn would go on to produce the commercially successful Yes album "90125."
