I just felt in the mood - and with my shiner gone, i thought i share my cheer.
Call me vain but having a 'Blaues Auge' or a blue eye - a shiner in English, has a stigma... It was quite horrific Monday 8/11 - a stumble on a stone (I did feel a bit dazed Sunday afternoon..) went from a swelling to a full blown...blue eye - and it felt sore (how do Boxers put up with that !)
I bought pinkish sun glasses (which turned out a bonus as the world turns rosy as soon as i put them on!) and a pair of £ 1.99 reading glasses +1.5 which made everything large and clear ! ..and covered the bruise...
No longer necessary as the shine has gone.... i keep both set of glasses... seems to make life a little easier...
Enjoy Tuesday... Life ! Be proud when you look back on these days of shenanigans and lies, some false prophets.... some good ones.. Discernment is the name of the game :)
