Seomthing strange about Bill Gates “reinventing” the toilet #InsideBillsBrain

Recently there was a Netflix documentary about Bill Gates, called “Inside Bill's Brain”. In this documentary a great deal involved talking about the things the Bill & Melinda Foundation do in the Third World. One of these things involved trying to solve sanitation problems by reinventing the toilet in order to create zero waste and also use little or no water, i.e. a non-flush toilet or device that dose not need outside plumbing. One thing that stood out to me in regards to these new toilets was the highly elaborate nature of these new toilet(s) design including one toilet that used energy in order to turn waste into carbon. In regards to using little or no water, being the main goal of these new toilets, I found it also interesting how there is already a cheap toilet that uses no or little water called a Long Drop or a Composting toilet, both of which have been around for a long time. I go into this as well as other things in this video.
