The stunt (forceful removal of the Parler app from both Apple and Google stores, then shutdown of its backend at Amazon-operated AWS) came after 72 hours of rhetorical bullying tactics on behalf of Twitter, which had arbitrarily deleted the account of the President of the United States just days prior.

This also came 24 hours after Parler had finally achieved to rank in first position of the most popular apps.

This video details the multi decade-long process of demoralization at the scale of a nation (and the next stages), which explains how even America could eventually come to allow this grossly anti-american injustice be done to Parler.
