On July 6th, 2020 at 12:48 pm, I had this exchange with the General manager of the Medford Food Co-op Anne Carter outside the restaurant portion of the Co-op grounds. She has previously denied me entry to the interior of the store and restaurant despite my claim to the Americans with Disabilities Act. She claims providing online shopping and curb side pick-up satisfies the 'accommodations' clause of the ADA, for 'full and equal access'. I claim this is not 'full and equal access', it is in fact unlawful exclusion.
GM Anne Carter begins this video by stating "I'm not interested in (discussing this further? talking any further?) We've made our decision about (access?)..."
Prior to this, before I began recording, I asked GM Carter if she would remove or tilt up her face shield, since it was hard to hear her. She agreed but backed away beyond 6'. I started asking her if she had gotten my emails since last we had spoken, which was the previous Thursday, July 2nd. She replied that she had been very busy and had been unable to read the emails. I reminded her that she had agreed to send me a document she claimed she had, which was a more legal and authoritative one than the OHA/Governor's 'Guidance' on masks document dated June 30th which I had shown her on Thursday. She confirmed that she had not sent me such a document. Then she handed me another document, which turned out to be a form to renounce my membership in the Co-op and begin the process to be refunded my $100 member deposit. I then asked her is I could ask her a question.
The video takes up at that point.
