Against Bitcoin Maximalism: Exchanges Can Print More "Bitcoin"

Bitcoin's issues will not be solved with "Layer 2." The gold standard was destroyed by its own "Layer 2" solution to its flaws as a currency: paper currency replaced gold and in the same way, a cryptocurrency like Bitcoin that has extreme transaction fees and requires bloated centralized solutions on top of it will gradually be replaced by those "solutions."

A decentralized digital currency and a store of value has to work as such without aid from other systems.
