Ride on Mena VL#6 - Part 1:
This ride is on Highway 1 across the Kiamichi Mountains from Mena to Talihina and back.
The sun was shining right up to the time I started getting ready for the ride, of course...
So it was an overcast ride starting at about 52 degrees ending at 55 degrees with several miles on the top o the mountains at 47 degrees.
I don't handle the cold as well as I used to, and YES that was cold for me today!
But, when you're on a bike and riding some curves, it's all good!
This ride was on Saturday, 2/15/2020 starting at approximately 1:15 pm. I was waiting for it to warm up..... LOL
Since this was a longer ride, I broke it into two parts. So there will be two links below for this posting.
Even though it was 'chilly' I felt very fortunate today to be able to ride...
