This little drone, which easily sits in the palm of your hand is, I believe available under various names but usually with the GD60 reference code.
My one, available for £35.99 from Drocon arrived attractively packaged in a mid-market display box with inside apart from the drone itself, a spare set of rotor blades, a screwdriver, a USB to Micro-USB charging cable and a User Guide. Unlike the guides with most budget drones, this one is actually readable and worth persevering with. I enclose a scan of it to my unboxing video.
The drone seems well made and is surprisingly rough and robust for the size. One drawback is that the battery is housed inside the body and cannot be changed. This is a nuisance given the six-minute flight time per charge and it is a shame that batteries cannot be swapped over between flights. Like many drones, this one has an on-board camera but unlike most in this price range, the camera is not at all bad. It is not as good as those on high-end drones but it can take decent quality still and video images and can simply be operated with separate Video and Image buttons on the controller with a loud confirmation beep to confirm On/Off. For me, this is perhaps the best feature of the device.
Flying, like with all tiny drones is best done either indoor or on a completely calm day. I am still very much in the learning stage but it is easier to use than others I have tried and given up on. It is quite heavy to fly, it struggles a bit to get airborne and more experienced users tell me it is a bit sluggish in use. That said I have seen some very impressive flights made with it.
For the price, this is a great little drone, easy to fly, quiet in use and with a genuinely decent quality camera.
