I continued beyond the aligned boulders placed on the finger of land, and discovered this isolated four foot long, shin high stone wall in the middle of nowhere. It makes no sense why this wall feature was constructed, unless it served as a defensive feature. Or perhaps a colonial or a Native American (during colonial times when they could get access to firearms) could have used it as a hunting perch. If so, I don't think there are many deers in the area now. Brian Ghilliotti
