U.S. and Australian forces participate in the Philippine-led exercise Balikatan 2019 to conduct capabilities-development training that enhances the joint force tactics, techniques and procedures across a wide range of military operations. U.S. forces have been providing support and assistance in the Philippines for many years and work together in many areas to improve the livelihoods of the Filipino people and uphold shared goals of peace and stability.
