It has been nearly 40 years since the anime was aired in Japan. The anime is based on the Miyuki (manga) that lasted form 1983 to 1984. Although the anime only lasted a year, the manga was the one that stand out the most form the series. It was one of the most popular manga at the time before it was long pulled off since 1984. That is also the same year the anime was pulled down too.

Miyuki (Anime) Main Characters Staring:
