Militia Unit Organization- Attachments To Platoons For Operations

In this video I give an idea of how and why attachments are made to platoons and companies before operations. The mission is issued by the Commanding Officer to the Platoon Leader. The Platoon Leader then decides what he will need to accomplish that mission. It could be additional troops, weapons, supplies, or intelligence. The CO then decides what that PL will get which depends on what the CO has available. The attachments take commands from the PL once they are attached for the duration of that mission. They then return to their normal platoon or section upon Return To Base. The PLs from the Heavy Weapons and Engineer Platoon assist in the TOC when not out on missions. They assist with mission and base camp defense planning.
