Vivaldi completed a set of 12 concertos in 1713 and named the collection ‘La Stravaganza’. The work was dedicated to the Venetian nobleman Vettor Delfino. All the concertos include violin, strings and basso continuo, however some include additional soloists.

The work is comprised of three movements:
I. Allegro
II. Largo
III. Allegro assai
