Aeterno Blade 2 - Playthrough Part 20 (True Ending)

The last part of my playthrough of Aeterno Blade 2 was quite eventful. We learn the fate of the first game's true villain, defeat a dark god and deliver a better ending for the people of Chronosia while setting up some events in the first game (due to the time travel in the series). Overall I quite enjoyed the game despite its lack of polish. The gameplay is solid and the way they utilise many different time abilities in both combat and puzzles is quite creative. The story presents a really interesting idea since it's technically taking place in the past, but people who haven't played the first game may be really lost at times. The voice acting is hit and miss and some of the character models look weird. I do appreciate the ambition of the small developer team and how they implemented 3D levels throughout the game - those work quite well and the transition is seamless. I would definitely recommend Aeterno Blade 2 to fans of hack and slash games and puzzles.
