Trial of the Knights Templar deals with the downfall of the order. This warrior knight fraternity is examined from the standpoint of its ignominious end. There's a good historical overview of the more commonly accepted origins of the Templars, and an excellent analysis of the dialectic between the King of France and the Pope, a power struggle which ultimately led to the horrific demise of the Knights. Wiped out by the King of France, shocking evidence found in the Vatican reveals the vicious torturing of the Templars was fuelled by his extremist views and Christ complex as well as corporate greed.
