Honda CR-V and Element Excess Negative Camber Fix: Install Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arm

Honda’s have a common rear suspension issue with excessive negative camber causing the inner tire tread to wear faster than the outer tread. You can see how the wheels tilt inward at the top. The only way to fix this is to install an adjustable upper control arm to reduce the negative camber. This video demonstrates the procedure to remove the rear upper control arm and replace it with an adjustable unit. We are showing it on a Gen 3 2011 CR-V [Element has the same chassis], but the process is the same on pretty much every Honda made in the past decade or two. [Pilot, Element, CRV, Ridgeline, Civic, etc].
