Dilruk Jayasinha last week suffered a shock heart attack at just 37 years old.

And the stand-up comedian has revealed he was back on stage just five days after the serious health scare.

After initially being told 'everything looks great', hospital ER doctors found an enzyme in Dilruk's blood 'that usually only shows up when you're having a heart attack'.

Following more tests, the funnyman was told 'this is [a] proper heart attack'.

However, he didn't let it hold him back, appearing on stage for a stand-up set just five days later - a recovery time frame endorsed by his doctors.
