If you've been a Christian for long, you've probably heard the phrase "find your identity in Christ." It is often referenced when someone is looking to someone else, like a spouse or boyfriend, to fulfill them. Other circumstances where it becomes particularly important to find your identity in Christ is if you are troubled by a desire to be a mother but are faced with a miscarriage or infertility, a career set back, a debilitating injury or illness or some kind of failure. This is biblical and wonderful advice, but what does it mean to find your identity in Christ?
