Kyle Korver won't get into the NBA Hall of Fame. He will get into the Woke Hall of Fame, however, with his latest Woke Article about ... you guessed it ... white people. Korver writes using cliche', vagaries, talking points, and woke buzzwords. He uses two random examples - nothing that would seem out of the ordinary to us regular people, to buttress his case. I guess if you have brought in $69 million over the last 15 years, you lose touch with real people, and real society. All Korver has done with this article is show the Rabble (that's us) that the Uber Wealthy have lost touch with reality. Korver, as Jason Whitlock noted, has provided no solid information, no solutions, nothing at all tangible to 'help' the people he supposedly worries about. To write how 'white people' - a characteristic they're born with and unable to control - are 'responsible' for the doings of other people who look like them, well, that just shows you how someone like Korver may be good at shooting 3's, but his attempt to be White Jesus missed the mark.
I tweeted back to Korver. I offered to let him come and help me at the HS. I could use the help. I've got young adults who have literacy issues. Our building is filled with violence, coarse language, and educational neglect. As Korver is, according to his article, "responsible" for such things, he is welcome to come lend a hand. Of course we all know that this will never happen, as it isn't as easy as Status Jockeying or Virtue Signaling. $69 million dollars doesn't get what it used to apparently...
