I have been an Uber driver since early 2016 and plenty of people have asked me if it’s worth it.
In this video I give my opinion on the matter and weigh up the cons and the pro’s of signing up and driving for Uber.
So is it worth it? Well, it depends but in most cases it’s probably not the best idea.
There are a few reasons you would want to consider it and I will go over them but, as mentioned, most people shouldn’t bother.
In fact, I’ve been told that most people who sign up to become an Uber driver drop out within a couple of months.
Although I don’t have any objective confirmation of that.
Many people don’t realise the costs associated with it, nor do they realise that despite the “freedom” you need to work as much in “peak times” as you can in order to even be comfortable.
So please, enjoy my video a driver’s perspective on the question: should you become an Uber driver?
