I am sad to inform you that I am one of the many people asking for a reconsider on your actions on punishing youtube creators for the things that they love. Youtube is a place to show what you love with others, and crate a community that is interested also in that content.
Make no mistake by the term that there is a kid inside of us all when I describe the following sentence: There are adults that love things that are seemingly targeted to kids. By your definition of what kid would like is a general misconception of what we as a human race love within ourselves and outwardly display to others around us.
There are adults that collect vintage toys and talk about their history. There are adults that collect Lego's, and make public get together's to show off their pieces. There are adults that still enjoy "cartoons and animations", and often discuss about it in the community. There are community centers dedicated annually to things such as action figures, toys, video games, and more. Serious clubs, which includes SCRAP ( Southern California Region Attack Patrol : http://www.scrapcombatships.com/ ), who regularly create model boats that is judged in major competitions. This and others is made for adults, who love their natural born craft, but can also welcome children. This is where the problem lies of the status on where Youtube creators falls.
I remember many times that I went to video game midnight releases, and met with 20-30+ other adults all trying to get a word in the group of complete strangers on how excited they were to see what the game they waited so ..
