We gather to celebrate a birth
We gather to mourn a death
We hold a loved one's hand
when we are taking our last breath
We gather to nourish our bodies
when we share a mean,
when we gather we share the joy on our faces
Its not something that can be concealed
We gather to celebrate union
We gather to share our love
We gather in witness of god
guiding us from above-
We gather in times of urgency-
We gather in times of distress-
We gather to hold each other up
Our laughter reduces our stress
We gather in times of illness
to nurture the ailing ones
Our collective support is what helps
the sickness to be overcome
The true time-tested traditions
that have been with us for millions of years
Would always recommend integration-
Never separation and fear!
So gather your strength and courage-
gather them close to your heart
The light is bursting to shine
and illuminate all of this dark!
Open up your inner eyes
And your inner ears too
Look + Listen carefully
and you will know what YOU need to do
“How long shall they kill our prophets
While we stand aside and look?
Some say its just a part of it,
But we've got to fulfill the book”
Is there a song of inner freedom
singing inside of your heart?
Is there a deeper body wisdom
that knows that humans should
NEVER live apart?
Or have our life force drained
struggling for oxygen in the dark?
Stick your spade in the ground
and cultivate the earth
This planet is far too precious
And there is always a chance for rebirth.
Know that you came here for a reason,
a seed of potential to fulfill
And all of humanity benefits
When you get Quiet and Still
And listen to that inner voice
Whispering at your window sill.
We need you now
and forever we will.
Gather Your Gifts
Gather Your Strengths
Gather Your Power to Connect
The dots are all there....
All you need is just one tiny little thread.
Help weave us back together-
Breathe LIFE back into DEATH.
