These day there're relatives scattered in south Zimbabwe and in East of Botswana. They went to Zimbabwe in 2005 for a reunion. Our tribe is in South Africa in limpopo, Sekgosese and Botlokwa. Were the smallest group, the biggest bakalanga group stayed in Botswana when they separated from 3 groups in 1850 when whites started invading our settlements, The Chiefs were Makhura and Khama, Khama is still ruling the population of botswana tribe even today in a place called Bobong. Most people joined Mzilikazi the King of Matebele tribe when he crossed the shashe river to settle in south Zimbabwe, They speak sepedi today in SA but with a dialect of Venda and Tswana,known as Setlokwa.
