Fishing | Walden Pond Brown Trout Fishing 03/10/2018

Walden Pond was stocked on October 23rd, 2017, but there are still a lot of holdovers. Best day to fish for stocked trout is the day after, and a few days after that (after they've acclimated to their new environment). This was 5 months later, and my first day of fishing in 2018 where it wasn't on top of the ice!

Catch:
1 brown trout, 15'5", 1.33lbs

25 ft.

My fishing setup:
6.6ft or 7.6ft ultra light rod, Carolina rig with 3.5ft to 5.5ft leader, 4lbs test, live Nightcrawler, Size 4 Mustad Classic 3 Extra Strong Reversed Point Forged Turned Up Eye Salmon Egg Octopus/Beak Hook with Extra Short Shank and Baitholder Barb, and 1/2 oz tungsten bullet weight.
