Every Black Man should know this historical moment of how courage under fire is not to be taken lightly. this is the attitude we all should have American history doesn't want to let the Black man to know that Overseers got their asses kicked pretty frequently. Nat Turner wasn't the first, nor was he the only Slave to turn on their masters. The whites were beginning to realize that they were outnumbered in many states in the South and resorted to increasingly brutal tactics to keep the slaves in line. Slavery only end because if it hadn't, the slaves would have eventually united and taken over. There would have been nothing White people could have done to stop it. The Census started to track the number of Black Americans vs White Americans, and it is still going today.
