I purchased this guitar for $70.00US in 2019 and built upon it for a few months as I found parts to put it together the way I wanted it to be. Most details in the video. And its made of.........
Its a solid guitar and made with the best parts I could find to make it all work. It was not correctly set in a proper neck scale length until I had the neck length custom to fit to make it that perfect 25 1/2 scale length from the saddle to nut.
I added some EMG RA-5 Alnico 5 Retro active pickups that was actually a mistake in getting them. I was going after I believe the RA-2 and ordered these by mistake on eBay. They're suppose to sound retro to Dick Dale surfer style music. I'm a rocker and lean a little metal sometimes. So I was actually shocked to hear some gain on these pickups and how clear they are and how they can cut thru a mix.
I also switched out knobs and jack and input plates to black along with strap locks.
Fender locking tuners.
And yes the body of the guitar I found out after taking it apart is plywood. Its solid and I am sure the body will hold up to any other guitar out there. And its Batman. How cool is that?
Just noodling around in this video. Avoid copyright crap.
