Just wanted to make a quick video showing you how you can rename all of your photos in your Google Pixel 4XL. One of the big issues I've found with this phone is that the naming convention for images and videos is different from any other phone I've had, and there's no way to change this naming convention with the native software on the phone (Google Photos).

I've found a very handy app called "Bulk Rename & Group" which allows you to rename all of your photos at once.

I keep backups of my photos on my computer in the format of YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS. The Google Pixel appends IMG_ and VID_ to images and videos, which completely messes up the organization of these files.

This video shows you how to use Bulk Rename & Group to remove those beginning characters from every image and video with a single action.
