How to make Rose Petal Jam ( Easy fool proof Recipe )

In this video I will be showing you an easy and fool proof Rose Petal Jam recipe.

Ingredients
2 cups of tightly packed organically grown washed rose petals ( make sure its clean with no bugs are in it )
2 cups of pectin sugar ( I prefer using this as its easily available to me )
1 1/2 cups of filtered water.
2 to 3 table spoons of freshly pressed lemon juice

Place water and roses in a saucepan. Bring to a gentle simmer for 10 minutes.
Add sugar into the saucepan.
Add freshly squeezed lemon juice. You will notice that the color will change..
Continue to simmering and stirring constantly for about 20 minutes.
At this stage you could do the plate test, by dropping a few drops on to a frozen plate and tilt it. If it stops flowing.
Switch off the heat and pout into sterilized jars set on a tea towel.
Leave a little gap and close the jar tightly.
This jams freezes well in case you choose not to can.
