Transcendental Meditation, or TM, is quite popular where I live here in Los Angeles, as well as all over the world. Artists, seekers, and everyday people swear by the power of their daily mantras and the 'brilliant teachings' espoused by 60s counter-culture 'guru-to-the-stars' Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. This documentary pulls back the curtain on this destructive cult, revealing the darker and more secretive aspects of the group that claims to be 'learning to fly' while 'spreading world peace'.
