July 16th, 1945, Potsdam. Amidst a ruin of defeated Germany, the leaders of the three great allies powers, US President Harry Truman, British Prime Minister Winston Churchhill, and Soviet leader Joseph Stalin, met for the first conference after the second world war in Europe. In the first morning session marshal Stalin proved aggressive and tough, but that very morning President Truman received a top-secret telephone message from Washington, it was a short but momentous conversation. The US had successfully tested the atom bomb.
