Here is my latest let's play of Train Simulator 2019 and this video shows one of the hardest scenarios that I have made for my mega pack of 10 scenarios that I am making for the freeware North Lincolnshire route because this one has heavy rain and poor weather. This scenario will take about 1 hour and 45 minutes to complete and careful use of the power and brakes is necessary to prevent wheelslip and a possible SPAD (Signal Passed At Danger) as the player train will have lower priority over the AI passenger services at Boston and Grimsby.
I have used the AP Weather Enhancement pack in my scenario mega pack as in my option it does make the simulation much more realistic. But if you do not own this weather pack, don't worry as the game will use the default stormy weather instead. This video shows the scenario as still a work in progress because I may change some of the wagons over to either those from Fastline Simulations, Just Trains or Armstrong Powerhouse as some of the wagons that come with the European Loco and Assets Pack are a bit over scale for the UK loading gauge.
The route I have chosen for this scenario will go via Firsby, Alford and Louth as well as Ludborough which sadly this section of line was closed when Beeching was running the railway when he make the decision to rationalise the railway that lead to the removal of the lines in most areas. But its nice to see how the railway used to look like when it existed.
Tatking this into account. I have used about 30 AI trains in this scenario although I have balanced them to make the scenario stable and to make the traffic realistic. This scenario is set in 1995 so I have use appropriate trains that would have been seen in that period including some borrowed trains and some diversions in progress as well due to a fallen tree on the line between Boston and Lincoln.
For those that want to try this freeware route. The North Lincolnshire route can be downloaded for free from here:
