The Grim Hydroxychloroquine Trials

Universal government advice is that Hydroxychloroquine does not prevent covid, most goverments cite the results of the UK RECOVERY trial.

There's more to this than meets the eye: The way it was tested tells you more than the result of the test.

Remember the point is not whether the hydroxychloroquine works to prevent death in late stage covid patients. The way the trial was constructed is the point of this video.

In detail - Prov takes a look at the data sets the UK RECOVERY trial published and contrasts it to the known toxicity parameters for hydroxychloroquine. Combined with the maths for the half-life the cumulative dose can be assessed. It's pretty grim.

There is a strong difference between preventing death in late stage patients and being an effective prophylactic (preventative). The advice is to not take Hydroxychloroquine as a preventative measure because of the failure of the results of the RECOVERY trial (where it \
was tested on late stage).
